"In My Mailbox" is a weekly meme hosted by Kristi @ The Story Siren to share books we got in the mail or the library or the bookstore, etc. that week!
I had a pretty awesome week this week! Not in quantity, but in quality:
-I attended the Tour de Nerdfighting event that I planned for my store (so I guess I had to be there, haha!) and got a copy of The Fault in Our Stars signed.
-Purchased my own copy of Cinder because the book deserves a spot on my shelf.
-Penguin sent my store a final copy of Jess Rothenberg's The Catastrophic History of You and Me which I took upon myself to take home and own (the package had my name on it!). You can read my earlier review here. And I just realized I had typo-d her last name in the review, so that has been fixed. EMBARRASSMENT! And they DID keep the shimmery cover! Good on you, Penguin.
PURCHASED:
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
Cinder by Marissa Meyer
Cinder by Marissa Meyer
FROM PENGUIN:
The Catastrophic History of You and Me by Jess Rothenberg
So that's my week. What did you get??

haha I love tax refunds! Awesome IMM! Hopefully next week you'll have an EPIC ARC to show on your IMM haha later lady! :)
ReplyDeleteI caved and bought fault in our stars this week. I was trying to wait til next paycheck but oh well. And I loved cinder. I have an e-copy but am getting a hard copy as well. An excellent week!
ReplyDeleteI just started Cinder yesterday and am already halfway through it! It's soooo good.
ReplyDeleteGranted, I am kinda a closet nerd... and really like Star Trek and Star Wars.
And if you watched any Sailor Moon as a kid... like I did in 6th grade... well, then you'll love Cinder even more!
Happy reading!

Great set! So cool that you got the John Green book. I really want to read it.

I love your blog's name and banner. I think it's awesome that you got to meet John Green in person! And you have a special signed edition of TFiOS, not just the usual signature from the first print copies. It's such a lovely book, I really need to write a review for that. I've been meaning to read Cinder because I've heard good things about it.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy all your books - Catastrophic History of You and Me looks SO great :)
